OCTOBER  2009

Tuesday, Oct 13 Teen Book Discussion Group- The book to be discussed will be "A MATTER OF TRUST" by Anne Schraff. The club will come to order from 6-7pm. Bring a friend to the Bluford High experience.

Wednesday, Oct 21- Teen Advisory Board (TAB) -Meet and discuss what you would like to see in the library - Your input is appreciated- bring a friend- meeting from 5-5:30pm.

Tuesday, Oct 28- Teen/Adult Poetry Slam- Create and Perform your original poems. Performances  5:30pm-7pm.Please call  248-758-3942 for more details or register.

Thursday, Oct 29- 4:30-5:30pm- Family Pumpkin Carving- Join your family and create a pumpkin masterpiece.  

Friday, Oct 30- Teen Cupcake Creations 4-5pm- Decorate your eatable creation. Please register by calling 248-758-3942

NOVEMBER 2009

Tuesday, Nov 10-Teen Book Discussion Group from 6-7pm- Meet and discuss "SECRETS IN THE SHADOWS" by Anne Schraff. 

Wednesday, Nov 18- Teen Advisory Board (TAB) - Meet and share you ideas about the library. Bring a friend. Meeting starts at 5pm and runs until 5:30pm.

Wednesday, Nov 25 from 5-7:30pm- Teen/Adult Poetry Slam- create a poem and present your interpretation to a live audience. Call 248-758-3942 to register.

Friday, Nov 27- Open Wii from 2-5pm - Come and play virtual games on one of our two Wii consoles-  

Saturday, Nov. 28 from 12-1:30pm watch the movie "Bring It On: Fight to the Finish" 

DECEMBER 2009

Tuesday, Dec 8, 6-7pm- Teen Book Club- Bring a Friend to discuss "SOMEONE TO LOVE ME" by Anne Schraff.  

Wednesday, Dec 16-Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Meet and share you ideas about the library. Bring a friend. Meeting starts at 5pm and runs until 5:30pm

Wednesday, Dec 23 from 2-6pm Watch the movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"- all ages welcome  

Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 2-4pm Guitar Hero Come and create your own music with the virtual Wii. 

Wednesday Dec 30 from 5:30-7pm Teen/Adult Poetry Slam- Create and perform your original poem. Call 2480758-3942 to register.
